Writing with Purpose, Perspective, and Heart
I’ve always loved books. Reading has been my constant, a quiet joy, a safe place, a lifelong companion. I read every day. I always have. But for much of my life, writing one myself felt like something other people did.
I’ve written articles. Blogs. Speeches. But a book? That seemed like another world.
Then everything changed.
In 2020, the world came to know my father, the late Captain Sir Tom Moore. At the age of 100, he began writing his autobiography. I had the honour of walking alongside him through that process, supporting, listening, and witnessing the joy he found in telling his story on his own terms. It was beautiful, purposeful, and unforgettable.
What I didn’t know at the time was how significantly that experience would shape my own journey.
Not long after, I found myself navigating a period of intense public scrutiny. With it came something few individuals ever prepare for: the sensation of losing control over their own narrative. When others define your story, when headlines supplant truth with speculation, your voice can start to vanish beneath the clatter.
That’s when I turned to writing.
My debut book, Grief: Public Face, Private Loss, began as a way to make sense of the overwhelming. It became a space to explore not only the loss of my parents but also the quieter losses of peace, privacy, and trust. It’s part memoir, reflection, and an offering to anyone who has had to navigate personal heartbreak under the weight of public expectation, in whatever form it may take.
The response to "Grief: Public Face, Private Loss" reminded me that writing is more than self-expression; it’s connection, it’s clarity, it’s courage.
And so I kept going.
I am currently working on over ten new titles, each shaped by different parts of my life and perspective; among them are:
Personal Resilience
Business Resilience
Business success
Personal branding
Reclaiming Wellness
Leadership and legacy-building
Animal rescue and the dogs who’ve changed my life
Children’s books about kindness, empathy, and strength
And, when the time is right, my full autobiography
Each of these books is driven by the same desire: to tell the truth with grace, and to create space for others to do the same.
I never set out to be an author, but as my journey unfolded, I realised the power of using my voice with intention and the importance of telling stories that truly matter, as will also unfold in my Podcast “Moore Moments” - Sharing Remarkable Stories.
Writing has become my refuge, a space for reflection, and a means to offer something enduring. I hope you discover something within these pages that resonates with you and perhaps even assists you in rediscovering your own voice, too.
